On the occasion of World Theater Day, the students of Mass Communication Department participated in various activities organized by the University School for Graduate Studies of Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa. In this event, Student Lakshmi got third prize in the photography competition. While congratulating for World Theater Day, Principal Dr Ranjana Grover expressed happiness over the achievement of student Lakshmi and said that on this day, theatre arts are celebrated to raise awareness about their importance in entertainment and the changes they bring to society. Therefore, it is very important for the media students to continue participating in such activities. Department Head Dr.Deepika Sharma, told that the students had to do on the spot photography under four categories of Micro, Flower, Education and Architecture, in which Lakshmi, student of BA Mass Communication 1st year, got third position.
