Book reading session was conducted on 20th April, 2023 at 9:30 am in room no. 67 of CMK National PG College. It took almost 1hr 30 min to complete the session. There were 12 participants in total from UG and PG classes. Students were told to read selected books of various languages (English, Hindi and Punjabi) with in the assigned time frame. Students’ response was very appreciative. The main motto of the session was to stimulate students’ interest and encourage them to develop their reading skill. Likewise students also performed nicely.
At the end students were also rewarded certificates.

Essay writing competition was conducted on 29th April, 2023 at 10:30 am in room no. 46 of CMK National PG College. It took almost 45 mins to complete the writing. There were 25 participants in total from UG and PG classes. Students were told to write essay on the topic “Health and Education”. Students’ response was very appreciative. The main motto of the writing was to stimulate students’ interest and encourage them to develop their writing skills. Likewise students also performed nicely. In this competition Anjali (B.Com.-IInd yr) secured first position, Deepanshi (B.Com.-IInd yr) secured second position and third position is secured by Kuldeep Kaur (B.A.-Ist yr).
A "Translation Competition" was organized by Academic Creative Writing Club on 28th April, 2023. More than 20 Students participated in this competition among which Manju Bala (M.Com 1st year) secured First position, Aayush (BBA-1st year) secured Second position and Priyanka (M.Com 1st year) secured Third position.
