In the history of C.M.K. National P.G. Girls College it was for the first time that Zonal Youth Festival was organized from October 21st-23rd, 2008. For the proper functioning of the youth festival the organizing committee was organized. The members were:-

In this Youth Festival near about 76 colleges participated and the overall trophy was bagged by the host college.

Results :

• On the inauguration, V.C. K.U.K Dr. R.P. Bajpai was the chief-guest, the guest of honor was Dr. Anoop Lathar, Director Youth & Cultural Affairs.
• The second day of Youth Festival was graced by the presence of Sh. Sushil Mittal, President Cotton Association, Haryana.
• On the closing ceremony of Youth Festival Ch. Birender Singh, Finance Minister, Haryana, along with Sh. Jagdish Nehra Ex. Education Minister, Haryana added colour and luster to the show by being the Chief-guest and gave away the prizes to the prize winners. Donation of Three Lakh. was given by the Honorary Finance Minister to the host college.

This Youth Festival could be organized in our college only due to the efforts made by the dynamic Principal of the college Dr. Mrs. Vijaya Tomar under whose guidance it proved to be a great success. The office-bearers of S.E.S. Sh. Parveen Bagla President, Sh. Kulwant Rai Jindal, Vice President, Sh. Arvind Bansal Hony. Secy., Dr. Karan Singh the treasurer and Dr. R.S. Sangwan Chief patron extended their valuable contribution. The contribution of the staff:- Teaching and Non- teaching can't be forgotten. The class three and four also gave their full co-operation in making this youth festival an unforgettable event.

Sh. Daryao Singh Malik, a renowned comedian from Haryanvi and Hindi Cinema did not perform his duty only as a judge but he was also the main attraction of the stage for three days. He has to his credit the Presidential award. He gave peals of laughter to the audience from time to time during the festival. Dr. Janardan Sharma pleased the audience by showing his talent at the best in Haryanvi Gazal.

For the smooth and perfect functioning of the festival in an organized way two stages were arranged one in the open that was the main stage and the other was the second in the auditorium.

The Inter Zonal Youth Festival was held from 3rd Dec. to 6th Dec. 2008 in K.U.K. Our College has shown the best performance in that Inter Zonal Youth Festival. Our college team of Haryanvi Group dance secured the 2nd position and Miss. Ruby Sharma was declared the best actress in Haryanvi Skit. Miss. Rashm was recommended for Haryanvi Solo Dance.
