सी. एम. के. नेशनल स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय में करवा चैथ के पावन पर्व पर महिला प्रकोष्ठ की इंचार्ज डॉ कामना कौशिक ने मेहंदी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन ‘अर्न वाइल लर्न‘ के उद्देश्य से किया। प्राचार्या डॉ नीना चुघ ने विद्यार्थियों को सम्बोधित करते हुए कहा कि मेहन्दी प्रतियोगिता आयोजित करने का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों के अन्दर निहित प्रतिभा को उजागर करने का सुअवसर प्रदान करना व रंगो की महत्ता प्रतिपादित करना है। मेहन्दी प्रतियोगिता में छात्राओं ने बढ़चढ़ कर भाग लिया। प्रतियोगिता में निम्न छात्रों ने स्थान प्राप्त किया :-

Thanks to our expert, Mr. Dheeraj Roy from Delhi, for sharing his expertise in embroidery and sustainable fashion practices. Participants learned creative ways to give old clothes a new life through wool recycling and embroidery.

🌸 Creating Awareness. Building a Safer and More Respectful Workplace. 🌸

The Internal Committee and Women’s Cell of CMK National P.G. College, Sirsa organized an insightful Extension Talk on the POSH Act (Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act) on 17th September 2026 .

The session was delivered by Advocate Mr. Naresh Malik, who sensitively and effectively explained the key provisions of the Act, the rights and responsibilities of individuals, and the importance of maintaining a workplace where dignity, safety and mutual respect are valued.

The programme was graced by Dr. Anshu Pal, Principal of the College and Chairperson of the Internal Committee.

The presence of the committee members — Dr. Rama Sarraf, Dr. Sapna, Dr. Manisha, Miss Ritu Ganda   — added significance to the programme and reflected the college’s continued commitment towards awareness and sensitization.

Faculty members, staff and students participated in the session and gained valuable insights into an important aspect of creating a safe and inclusive educational environment.

Women’s Day Celebration at C.M.K. National College, Sirsa on 8th March 2026

The programme was conducted smoothly and successfully, celebrating the theme “Give To Gain.”
We were honoured to have Dr. Chandni Mittra, whose inspiring session not only motivated students towards service and empowerment but also spread awareness about important social issues like child marriage, emphasizing the power of education and informed choices.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Rama Sarraf (Convenor, Women Cell) along with Ms. Swati Kedia and dedicated staff members, with the gracious presence of Inner Wheel Sirsa Heights.

A workshop titled " was organized by the Home Science Department and Women Cell at the college. The organizing committee included Dr. Anu Kathuria, Dr. Rama Sarraf, and Dr. Swati. Mr. Dheeraj Roy from Delhi was the resource person, who shared his expertise in embroidery and sustainable fashion practices, drawing enthusiastic participation from students and attendance from other staff members.
