सी एम के नेशनल महाविद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों का हरियाणा स्टेट काउंसिल फॉर साइंस एंड टेक्नोलॉजी के तत्वावधान में राजकीय महाविद्यालय सिरसा में आयोजित जिला स्तरीय विज्ञान निबंध लेखन प्रतियोगिता में चयन किया गया। विज्ञान विभाग की अध्यक्षा सुश्री जसमीत कौर ने बताया कि इस जिला स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता में महाविद्यालय के सात विद्यार्थियों ने प्रतिभागिता की थी जिनमें से शेजल(B.Sc.(Med)-III) ने चौथा व आंचल (B.Sc.(BioTech)-III) ने पांचवां स्थान प्राप्त करते हुए राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता में अपनी भागीदारी सुनिश्चत की।जिला स्तर पर महाविद्यालय का नाम रोशन करने पर विजेताओं को बधाई देते हुए प्राचार्या डॉ नीना चुघ ने कहा कि इस तरह की प्रतियोगिताओं से विद्यार्थियों में वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण विकसित होता है साथ ही उन्हें संचार की प्रभावशीलता और तार्किक विकास का मह्त्व भी पता चलता है।
A Poster Making Competition on ‘Drug Abuse’ was organized by Science Dept. on 28 Oct, 2022. Ms. Jasmeet Kaur, Mrs. Shrestha Rani and Ms. Sakshi Garg judged the participants. The following students won the competition:-

Inter District Science Exhibition was organized by DHE(Panchkula) at Govt. National College, Sirsa on 9 Dec, 2022 in which a total of 8 candidates participated from Psychology, Geography, Life Science and chemistry department. Life Science dept. (Botany) secured 2nd position. The candidates are Sneha (B.Sc.(BioTech.)-I) and Shivangi (B.Sc.(BioTech.)-III).
Science Department has organized “Something out of Nothing” competition on 31st March, 2023 in college campus under the supervision of Ms. Jasmeet Kaur. The competition focuses on bringing an understanding among the children about preserving the environment by reusing and recycling waste material. First position is secured by Anjali(B.Com-II) and Jyoti, Khushmeet, Kamaljeet(B.Sc-III), second position is secured by Prerna, Bhavya (BA-III) and Neha, Tanisha, Neha, Pooja(B.Sc.-III), third position is secured by Manpreet, Harshdeep, Sanpreet (B.Sc.-III)
