In an initiative to generate the habit of using old things to create beautiful crafts among students, a 'Best out of Waste Competition' was organized on 7th Oct, 2022 under the guidance of Principal Dr. Neena Chugh. The program was successfully conducted by HOD Mrs.Babita Malhotra along with Assistant Professors Mrs. Shalu Mehta and Mr. Choote Lal.

सी. एम. के. नेशनल महाविद्यालय में अर्थशास्त्र विभाग द्वारा बजट 2023 विषय पर विस्तार वार्ता का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करते हुए कार्यवाहक प्राचार्या डाॅ॰ रंजना ग्रोवर ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि अमृतकाल के पहले बजट ने भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था के उज्जवल भविष्य का मजबूत आधार तैयार किया है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को प्रेरित करते हुए कहा कि प्रत्येक भारतीय नागरिक को विशेषकर छात्र-छात्राओं को अपने देश के सामाजिक, राजनैतिक व आर्थिक क्षेत्रों सम्बन्धी संपूर्ण जानकारी होनी चाहिए जिससे वे वर्तमान प्रतियोगी परिप्रेक्ष्य में जागरूक रहकर सफलता प्राप्त कर सकें।
Department of Economics has organised an Activity on 'Lecture presentation 'on dated 28 April, 2023. Unnati(B.A 2nd year)got first prize, Anamika (M.A Eco. Final year) stood second and Rupinder Kaur(M.A Eco.Final) won third prize.

Economics Department of our college organised a speech competition on the topic "impact of inflation on Economy and Estimated effects of G20 on Indian economy" on 15th September 2023. 20 students participated in the competition. In this competition Megha of MA previous secured first position while Ridhi of MA final got second position and Arshdeep of BA final was placed at third position. Principal Dr. Ranjana Grover congratulated these students. Mrs Babita Malhotra (H.O.D.), Dr Seema Rani, Mrs Shalu Mehta and Mr. Suninder Singh were present on the occasion.
